As Q4 2023 comes to a close, Sensor Tower has gathered data on the performance of leading Music and Podcasts applications on the Android platform in France. This review offers a glimpse into the app trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player, hailing from France, showed a steady revenue trend with a slight decline towards the end of the quarter, rounding off at about $180K. Downloads surged to approximately 32K in the final week of December, while weekly active users saw a peak of nearly 2.4M in early November before ending the quarter with around 2.2M.

Spotify: Music and Podcasts, the Swedish giant, experienced a notable revenue increase in early December, hitting over $160K, followed by a dip to around $118K. Downloads reached their highest at about 43K in the last week of December, and weekly active users peaked at approximately 7.8M towards the end of November.
